貝殼島 The Island of Shells 臺灣、法國、丹麥 Taiwan, France, Denmark｜2025｜互動VR Interactive VR｜32min｜華語、英語、丹麥語對白 Mandarin, English, Danish Dialogue｜英文、丹麥文字幕 English, Danish Subtitles ★ 亞洲首映 Asia Premiere 人權博物館裡，資深導覽員陳欽生教導參與者整理展品，並邀請你操控一只塵封已久的小男孩戲偶。你因而穿越至皮影戲的世界，聽見陳欽生母親的旁白：小男孩受青鳥誘惑渡海離家，卻落入陷阱。此時，陳欽生打斷故事，將自己遭冤獄與酷刑的親身經歷與母親的寓言相比，表示現實更加可畏。陳欽生母親接續，當年的男孩已是個男人，脫逃後卻發現返鄉的船早已破損，他只能困守孤島、思念母親。當他再度遇見青鳥，卻必須在復仇與原諒之間做出抉擇，而這也將引領你共同參與選擇。 At the Human Rights Museum, senior guide Fred Chin invites audiences to control an old puppet of a boy, leading them into a magical shadow puppet world. The boy leaves home and falls into the trap of a demon king. Chin then compares the story to his own experience of wrongful imprisonment and torture, saying reality is even more terrifying. A new media artist focused on computer graphics, Ko is dedicated to exploring the possibilities of interactive media. “我們企圖透過這個沉浸式體驗，描繪陳欽生與母親之間超越語言與壓迫的羈絆。政治迫害至今仍無所不在，我們認為陳欽生的遭遇應該讓更多人知道。因此，我們創作了小男孩的故事，作為陳欽生遭遇的隱喻。作品以皮影劇場的形式呈現，觀眾操控小男孩戲偶，猶如當年極權政府操控受難者一般。我們希望藉由 VR，讓觀眾親身體會政治受難者的處境。”" This work portrays the bond between Chin and his mother that transcends language and political oppression. We created the story of a boy leaving home as a metaphor for Chin's experiences. Presented as a shadow play, audiences manipulate the boy puppet, much as the totalitarian government once controlled its victims, while also witnessing his journey.
